Job Description



JOB PURPOSE:

The Manager, Consumer Mass Marketing is responsible for executing marketing campaigns and activities into branches and other sales channels.

The role reports to the VP Consumer Marketing. This role can be based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi but travel to both is expected.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Execute all activities and campaigns to deliver against set annual marketing objectives.

Deliver marketing campaigns and activities into branches through content on branch screens and other relevant areas

Work with Sales and Distribution (S&D) on a branch segmentation strategy to ensure marketing is delivered to the right audience in the right location

Ensure all campaign updates and content are received from marketing team on time and updated on branch screens, with a monthly report shared with S&D of live content.

Execute and deliver customer communications through EDM / SMS and mobile app for any branch updates including closures, openings and change to digital branches

Work with S&D to prepare new signage or branch updates for announcements or changes related to holiday timings or opening / closures, maintenance work

Support ATM and marketing team on producing / resizing content needed on ATM screens including marketing campaigns, police or CBUAE supplied updates

Provide any required support to Group Marketing for brand related updates to the branches and ATMS

Manage marketing requirements by working with creative agencies and other relevant suppliers

Track marketing performance pre, during and post activity to ensure timely identification and effective resolution of corrective actions

Monitor competitive activity, industry trends and internal / external research and integrate where relevant into marketing briefs

Ability to deliver on executional excellence, managing projects on time and within budget

Specific Accountability:

Work collaboratively across functions including creative, digital, social, ops, research, analytics, activation and PR across all products.

Functional areas covered: Cards / loans / Everyday banking / loyalty / spends / branches / sales / Dubai First

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing or related discipline.

Minimum Experience

7 years relevant work experience with at least 4 years in marketing positions of progressively increasing responsibilities.

Other required experience:

Experience in a marketing role working with agencies and teams.

Marketing background in banking preferred and / or dealing with retail branches & trade channels

Able to build and execute on ideas.

Comfortable in understanding marketing strategies and plans.

Able to adhere to clear marketing processes and influence other departments and stakeholders to align to these processes.

Demonstrate a proactive, flexible and solution driven attitude.

Good communication and project management skills.

Fluent in English and ideally Arabic also.

Ability to travel between office locations for meetings and workshops
