MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

To help formalise a cloud strategy by designing, developing & leveraging cloud technology to meet short- & long-term organisation goals and provide guidance and support in adopting the most secure IT practice for better availability and business sustainability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Designs, facilitates, leads, and directs the infrastructure platform/Cloud initiatives which includes areas of network, compute, storage, security & data integration.

• Oversees solution design/design assurance for any new deployment in hybrid environment (Cloud/OnPrem) in alignment with business requirement for availability, scalability, resilience, and security.
• Identifies security design gaps in existing and proposed architecture to recommend changes or enhancements & creates reference & target architecture model.
• Engages the leadership team to influence decision making on IT strategy, transformation initiatives, key projects & technology adoption.
• Works closely with various stakeholders to ensure best practices are being followed with respect to infrastructure deployment, perimeter security, data governance and data privacy.
• Identifies any risks/technical debts posed by Infrastructure services and build risk mitigation plan for overcoming such risks
• Creates, defines, and maintains various technology artifacts as part of the infrastructure blueprint and enterprise framework.
• Drives & leads the pilot / proof of concept and detailed evaluation using a combination of RFP/RFQ, evaluation questionnaire and balanced weighted scorecard method. Participate in business case preparation and presentation.
• Partners with strategic vendors/partners and external stakeholders to maintain relationship and keeps updated on the emerging industry trends in areas of technology and cyber security
• Sets up cloud governance process of managing, optimizing, and monitoring cloud systems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Minimum Education

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree (or equivalent)
• Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

Experience Specific Requirements

• Experience in Enterprise Architecture domain.
• Handling large complex hybrid cloud migration project.
• Technology product evaluation.
• Knowledge on infrastructure & application modernisation using Containers, Microservices, API based technology platform.
• Preferred No. of Years (with Relevant Degree) - 10

Systems, Licensing, Language or Certification Requirements

• Microsoft Azure or AWS Certified Solutions Architect. Cloud Security Certification.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)-preferred. Cisco Network Architecting.
• IT Service management or ITIL framework.

Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day to day business operations.
