Manager, Category and Procurement
Core Accountabilities:
The Senior Manager - Category Management. As part of the Group Strategic Procurement leadership team who are responsible for developing and executing the group commodity plans in line with the corporate strategy. This will focus on Creating and maintain commodity plans, to include but not limited to strategic sourcing, supplier rationalization, make v buy analysis, establishing long-term framework agreements, supply chain criticality and vulnerability assessment and implementing mitigating actions for example vendor managed inventory/insurance stock. This role is ideal for a strategically minded and results-oriented procurement leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to driving excellence.
Supporting Accountabilities:
1.Commodity Planning:
a. Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive commodity plan drive synergies across the group, value creation, cost savings and risk mitigation.
b. Monitor and analyses the commodity markets, global economic conditions, supplier landscapes, and industry benchmarks to inform criticality assessment and identify appropriate mitigating actions.
c. Utilize commodity tools and process to create a robust strategy to support the dynamic landscape of the Organization.
d. Implement plans into reality and drive operational results across the group.
2.Work as part of a high-performing team of Supply Chain professionals and commodity subject matter experts focused on strategic sourcing, commodity management
a. Foster a collaborative and innovative environment with other cluster and legal entity companies across the group that encourages continuous improvement and business growth.
b. Support the Strategic Procurement Director with wider business initiatives.
3. Strategic Sourcing and Execution:
a. Ensure the end-to-end Supply Chain Process is followed, Procurement, Logistics, Export Control and Procurement Services.
b. Ensure that all Group Procurement activities align with the wider group strategy and development, by supporting the company's long-term objectives and customers' commitments.
4. Contract Negotiation:
a. Author and agree negotiation plans.
b. Lead the negotiation
c. Secure favorable outcomes for the business.
5. Stakeholder Engagement:
a. Have strong relationships with internal stakeholders, to ensure alignment on the commodity plan implementation.
