We are currently headhunting for a Mergers & Acquisitions Manager with a top-tier government entity based in the UAE. The role will entail planning, leading and managing the assigned portfolio of acquisition and divestiture transactions; including joint ventures and alliances, for the promotion of the entity's growth objectives, ensuring optimum benefits to the organization and whilst achieving strategic & stakeholder objectives.

- Screen market, identify & recommend M&A opportunities to help unlock new business value
- Lead/conduct detailed financial analysis, including financial modelling, development of long-term forecasts; valuation; calculation of financial impact of potential transactions on the entity's consolidated financial results
- Manage the entirety of the investment process including origination, valuations, structuring, risks, due diligence, negotiation and business case assessment
- Conduct effective collaboration with internal teams to evaluate opportunities, analysing the opportunity and presenting recommendations accordingly
- Prepare senior management & board level communication including, but not limited to di-/ investment proposals and investment recommendations
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience across various functions in M&A, Strategy and/or related fields
- Bachelors/MBA in Strategy, Finance or any other relevant discipline
- Advanced knowledge and technical expertise of Financial Modelling, Deal Structuring and Valuation Techniques
- Proficient knowledge of post-merger integration, change management & communication management
- Strong knowledge of the regional market and regulatory requirements
- Proven track record in managing stakeholders (internal & external)
- Excellent communication skills
