The Role
We are seeking a versatile
Maintenance Engineer
who thrives on technical challenges and possesses a "self-starter" mentality. This is not just a site-supervision role; it requires a professional who can bridge the gap between
Civil, MEP, and Interior Fit-out works
, ensuring all projects meet the rigorous standards of UAE government and semi-government entities.
Key Responsibilities
Integrated Project Management:
Lead renovation and decor projects by coordinating both Civil and MEP teams to ensure seamless execution.
Government Compliance:
Navigate the specific requirements, documentation, and quality standards required for
Government and Semi-Government
finishing works.
Technical Problem Solving:
Identify and resolve complex onsite issues. We value a candidate with
strong self-learning abilities
who can research and implement new technologies or methods independently.
Estimation & Material Take-off:
Accurately estimate costs for materials, labor, and equipment based on sketches, drawings, and site surveys.
Scope & Quality Control:
Analyze project specifications to determine resource needs while maintaining a "snag-free" delivery mindset for high-end decor projects.
Reporting:
Prepare comprehensive progress reports and cost-benefit analyses for management.
Requirements
UAE Experience (Must-Have):
Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience within the UAE maintenance and construction industry.
Sector Expertise:
Strong background in
Government and Semi-Government projects
, specifically in finishing works and total renovations.
Multidisciplinary Knowledge:
Deep understanding of the interplay between
Civil works and MEP systems
(HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing) within maintenance environments.
Self-Learning DNA:
A proven ability to learn new software, building codes, or technical systems without constant supervision.
Technical Proficiency:
Skilled in interpreting AutoCAD drawings and using estimation tools/software.
Communication:
Strong interpersonal skills to manage both site labor and high-level client stakeholders.
Working Hours & Environment
Hours:
9 hours per day, 6 days per week (1 day off).
