Perform routine maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, minor carpentry) within the kitchen premises.
Carry out minor repairs on kitchen equipment, fixtures, and fittings.
Assist in emergency repairs to minimize downtime of kitchen operations.
Ensure proper functioning of ventilation, drainage, water supply, and waste disposal systems.
Monitor and report any malfunctioning kitchen appliances (ovens, dishwashers, refrigerators).
Support pest control measures in coordination with external service providers.
Follow and support company Health & Safety policies and kitchen hygiene standards.
Conduct regular inspections for hazards (e.g., wet floors, loose fittings).
Support in ensuring fire safety equipment is functional and accessible.
Assist with deep cleaning of kitchen exhaust systems, filters, and grease traps.
Support proper waste segregation and disposal practices.
Maintain cleanliness in maintenance storage areas and workshops.
Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
Report shortages of maintenance supplies and materials to the supervisor.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations.
Coordinate with external technicians for specialized repairs when required.
Provide support during setup for large catering events (equipment positioning, temporary fixtures)
