Job Description
Preventive Maintenance of machines/equipments, identifying faults/errors and repairing. Improve equipment reliability and efficiency by increasing the MTBF(Mean time between failure).
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Perform preventive maintenance of all the m/c and equipments as per plan established
- Assist in the development of planned preventive maintenance schedule
- Report breakdown, equipment faults and concerns to department head
- Perform root cause analysis on frequent breakdowns and establish a solution
- Maintain enough inventory or spare parts, track the usage, life cycle and setup reorder quantity and time
- Ensure calibration activities are performed on necessary equipments and gauges
- Train the machine operators on safe and proper use of machines, tools & equipments
- Ensure equipments under AMC are services on timely manner
- Assist with machine movements, installation, commissioning or relocation
- Review of maintenance-related procedures
- Maintain manuals and records of machines & equipments for reference and troubleshooting
- Follow the ERP system set for preventive maintenance and work as per the schedule
- Follow the housekeeping as per the 5S requirements
- Suggest or raise observation on any improvements, risk, safety concerns and good practices
- Ensure to comply with all NOV HSE procedures and policies and maintain relevant HSE logs
- Observe HSE regulations, encourages safe working practices, corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to the proper personnel
- Perform daily, weekly & monthly PM checklist of machines
- Open Unplanned work orders in the ERP system for machine breakdowns/faults
- Ensure controlled use of spare parts and identify critical spares with high lead time
- Perform routine overhauling / yearly PM assessing the machine availability
- Ensure machines are running as per the requirement and at 100% efficiency
- Provide training to any new hire / operators that are under the certification program
- Other duties, as assigned by the supervisor
