SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all production machinery and ancillary equipment are maintained in optimal and safe operating condition. By implementing an effective preventive maintenance system, you will help always ensure consistent factory performance and uninterrupted production output.
This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and will be based in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on all plant machinery according to the maintenance schedule, ensuring accurate documentation of completed work.
• Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels of spare parts and engineering consumables to support uninterrupted operations.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, identify root causes, and carry out necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
• Update maintenance records, fault reports, and work orders in the IFS (Industrial and Financial Systems) for accurate tracking and reporting.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager, Engineers, and external service providers or contractors for spare parts procurement, machine installations, and scheduled maintenance activities.

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Is holding a diploma in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for reporting and data entry.
• Is flexible to work in different shifts.
• Fluency in English - both verbal and written. ( is an advantage)
