Job title: Maintenance Support Engineer Location: Oman - Adam Airbase - 12 month FTC Salary: Competitive Referral Scheme Bonus: £1000 Grade: AB06

What you'll be doing: · Creating logical tasks together with the sequencing and grouping of these tasks. Management of all aspects of Planned, Unplanned & Emergent Work Scope at Intermediate Level maintenance (I-Level - Level 2) both on and off wing · Acting as the focal point of contact for Intermediate Level maintenance (I-Level - Level 2) Maintenance Support Engineering both in country (the customer) and external to the UK · Interpreting and reflecting maintenance requirements into IFS Maintenix Task Definitions · Accurately transcribing and making precise reference from IFS Maintenix Task Definitions to approved maintenance data aligned to the latest revision issue number · Breaking down tasks where appropriate, into multiple manageable Task Definition Job Instruction Cards, to enable a more accurate and effective production planning and control capability · Maintaining airworthiness through the continued data sustainment of all IFS Maintenix Task Definitions, ensuring the reflected Task Definitions issue number recorded in IFS Maintenix, aligns to the approved data being reflected/referenced too · Providing support to the Part M Tasking Team Lead, deputising in his absence. Provide On-the-Job Training (OJT) to the customer

Your skills and experiences: Essential: · Typhoon Systems knowledge and practical experience, more biased towards Mechanical and Armament systems is required. · Recognised qualification to National Vocational Qualification Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent. Recognised Typhoon qualification or evidenced experience, on wing or off wing. · Integrated Maintenance Solution (IMS) incorporating the IFS Maintenix (aviation maintenance management) system or similar aviation management system. Desirable: · Knowledge of EASA Part M, and Part CAMO or Part CAO including Part M 145 or equivalent including knowledge of aircraft maintenance programmes, task card production and management, work-pack production and management, airworthiness directives and service bulletins · Experience as a Process Planner and able to breakdown complex tasks

The Maintenance Support team: As part of our team, you will provision maintenance support activities by meeting delivery targets and reporting any impact on Continuing Airworthiness. Understand how individual actions contribute to overall delivery performance and support the implementation of any Regulatory-driven changes into the Maintenance Support activities. Ensure compliance with all other requirements, e.g., ITAR, EaPW, ISO, etc. This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop analytical skills, build relationships with customers and suppliers, transfer your knowledge to customers/peers within the Middle East, working with Junior and Senior Stakeholders and working on a fully Operational State of the Art Airbase
