About the Client Our client is a global leader in the Industrial machinery manufacturing sector. HQ in America. They serve two key markets, agriculture, and infrastructure, with seven different product divisions, including Utility, Lighting and Transportation, Telecom, Solar, Coatings, Irrigation, and Ag Tech. They manufacture products in 85 facilities across six continents while running a business in 22 different countries. They are in search of a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible to perform & supervise all Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatics, Hydraulic & Electronics repair and periodic preventive maintenance on automated and other production system, to ensure that company run with ZERO loss time. Responsibilities: Supervise maintenance activities & responsible for preventive maintenance of production system. Ensures safe operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on production machines, conveyor systems, motors and other mechanical systems, in-house pumps/valves, and hydraulics; follow diagrams, schematics, operations manuals, manufacturers instructions, and engineering specifications; and troubleshooting malfunctions. Installation & supervision of electrical, mechanical & electronics equipment with Pneumatic & Hydraulic system. Perform troubleshooting and setup parameters, repair, aligns, calibrates, inspects & test a variety of production systems and equipment. Program logic controls for proper equipment operation. To perform other related duties as assigned such as factory facility maintenance. Understand PLC principles. Read, interpret and analyze electrical/mechanical schematics. Install new machines and equipment by installing power supply wiring and conduit to and between machines and equipment; using hand tools and test equipment. Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine electrical preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance. Monitor repairs and replaces faulty electrical components by using testing equipment and hand tools to install relays, switches, motors, printed circuit boards, and position-sensing devices. Maintains electrical equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt. Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks. Generating reports. Before start of work ensures that, there is no hazard in your area of work or in the surroundings. Report to your supervisor immediately in case you observe presence of hazard (A source of potential damage or Injury). Qualifications: Education level: Diploma in mechanical engineering preferred. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the manufacturing /industrial sector. Specific knowledge, skill, ability, and requirements: Strong knowledge of Industrial electrical and electronics, hydraulic and pneumatic system, Utility; PLC programming and troubleshooting: Equipment installation and maintenance; Tools; and Safety Regulations. Must have basic knowledge on Microsoft products such as Excel, Win Word, PowerPoint, etc. Experience in working with multicultural environment is desired.
