Overview

**This position will support LOGCAP and is contingent upon award**

Under limited supervision manages the daily operation of the maintenance department in support of the LOGCAP V Kuwait Task Order. The Maintenance Operations Manager (Augmentation) must demonstrate exemplary management and leadership capabilities, especially in the areas of collaboration, team building, talent development, process improvements. Overall responsible for the monitoring, tracking, analysis, and accurate reporting of all Maintenance related activities.

Responsibilities

This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.

+ Performs data analysis, validation, cleanup, and custom report creation utilizing Microsoft office software in conjunction with government information systems.

+ Monitors the tracking of all actions/tasks assigned to the Maintenance Department.

+ Collects and analyzes data identifying trends.

+ Provides direction and guidance to personnel engaged in maintenance operations analysis.

+ Validates data presented on all reports prior to briefing 0-5, 0-6 and 0-8 level Commanders.

+ Maintains Management role utilizing Global Combat Support-Army (GCSS-Army) for data mining and validation.

+ Primary Hand Receipt holder for tools, and equipment assigned to the section as well as supervises performance of sensitive/controlled items inventories.

+ Ensures daily reporting is annotated with current and updated information.

+ Monitors equipment readiness deficiencies, and reports feedback on systemic readiness problems.

+ Adheres to LOGCAP Performance Work Statement and enforces standards within the work area.

+ Provides reports on all life safety, quality, and maintenance issues.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

+ Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

+ Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card. CAC & SIPR Token Required

+ Must be a U.S. Citizen.

+ A valid driver license and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Motor Vehicle License and host nations Driver's License, if required.

+ Certified in GCSS-Army in a Commanders Role/ Maintenance Manager Role and other Army Information Systems for property / logistics.

+ Secret Clearance Required.

+ Familiar with Army regulations for operations, JP 3-0, FM 3-0, Vantage ASC, etc.

+ Must sign Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

+ Must have worked on Brigade staff or higher echelons in operation roles.

+ Experience:

+ Must have a minimum of 5 year of experience in maintenance and logistics with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity of a similar project/department/branch.

+ Skills:

+ Strong computer skills including Microsoft products with special emphases on PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.

+ Demonstrate ability to manage projects successfully.

+ Plan, implement, and support systems in a complex Military operational environment.

+ Must be able to research, analyze information, solve problems, and recommend solutions.

+ Strong written and oral communication.

+ Working Environment:

+ Indoor and/or outdoor warehouse environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, dusty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months). Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.

+ Physical Activities:

+ Will include prolong sitting and exposure to Computer Vision Syndrome

+ May be required to work an uncommon schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

+ Must be able to work extended hours and evenings, as mission requires.

+ Must have professional appearance

+ Required to observe all safety, security, fire, and health requirements for office, warehouse, and outside environment

+ Working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical or biological agents.

+ Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes but is not limited to. head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
