Maintenance Hub Operations Manager - Subject to Contract Award

The Job Opportunity
Subject to contract award, Serco Saudi Arabia (SSA) will be acting as a managing agent that is responsible for a project that will act and serve as a luxurious tourist destination. SSA's role as a managing agent and master operator will be to manage the service operators of the following transport modes:

• Air (Private Planes & Helicopter, etc.)
• Sea (Marine fleet & water taxis, sea freight etc.)
• Land - Road (cycle, cars, buggy, buses etc.)
• Land- Logistics (vans, staff buses etc.)

Key accountabilities
Supporting the establishment of initial temporary maintenance hub and transition to permanent maintenance hub facility.
Oversee, manage and coordinate Permanent Maintenance Hub infrastructure to be used for mobility asset maintenance by the service operators.
Oversee establishment of maintenance arrangements initially in a temporary facility, and shall ensure transition from temporary facilities to permanent facilities is planned and delivered with no disruptions to the mobility services.
Support the Mobility Operating Director and client in the DBOM process for a permanent facility and the effective transition between the initial temporary facility and permanent facility.
Ensure the efficient and collaborative use of the maintenance hub and to minimize risk to asset availability and service as service operators will have use of the maintenance hubs as a location to undertake asset maintenance activities.
In coordination with the Serco's QHSE team, assure service operator compliance with all safety regulation and licensing requirements for the services being delivered, including compliance with SOPs and best practice standards for workshop and maintenance hub activities.
Maintain a continuing Assurance programme to ensure the continuing competence and readiness selected operators to operate and maintain identified transport modes in their respective maintenance hubs.
Provide technical support to Serco's O&M team.
Provide operational advice and assistance to the O&M team.
Assist to facilitate a seamless operation by effectively managing, overseeing and coordinating asset maintenance activities by the Service Operators in maintenance hubs.
Interface with the Service Operators with regards to their respective asset maintenance activities in respective maintenance hubs.
Develop Operations Readiness Plan with the Head of O&M.
Identify resource requirements.
Perform and carry out other duties as instructed/ directed by the Head of O&M
Specific Requirements
Minimum 10 years general experience.
Minimum 8 years of practical experience of working in a complex project management environment.
4 years of general management experience within the Transportation industry.
Good understanding of the transport modes such as micro mobility modes (e-bikes, bikes, e-buggies, e-scooters, etc.), land modes (large cars, executive cars, buses, vans, etc.),
Good Experience and understanding in the operations and maintenance of transport systems.
Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
