Maintenance Engineer

Job Description
The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and safety of all production equipment and utility systems in a complex manufacturing environment. This includes chemical process systems, powder coating lines, steel fabrication machinery, fencing production, and industrial steam laundry machines.
The role involves
handling the whole maintenance team,
preventive maintenance
,troubleshooting
,repair
,installation
, andcontinuous improvement
of equipment and systems. The engineer must coordinate with production and safety departments to minimize downtime and ensure regulatory compliance.Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field. 5-15 years in maintenance and troubleshooting roles within chemical, steel, powder coating, or industrial laundry industries. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical panels, PLC systems, and HVAC. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, excellent communication and team collaboration, ability to work under pressure, safety-conscious and detail-oriented. Flexibility to work in a factory-floor environment, often noisy, hot, and with chemical exposure. May involve weekend work or on-call responsibilities.
