We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Pullman Dubai Jumeirah Lakes Tower Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facility's systems and equipment. This role requires a detail-oriented and collaborative professional who can efficiently handle a wide range of maintenance tasks while providing excellent customer service.

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on various building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address potential maintenance issues proactively Operate and maintain safety systems, including fire alarms and emergency equipment Read and interpret technical documents, such as blueprints, manuals, and specifications Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all occupants Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and equipment status Adhere to all safety protocols and local building codes and regulations Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry best practices and new technologies Assist in the development and implementation of energy-saving initiatives and sustainable practices


Qualifications

Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or in a similar role, with a minimum of one year of experience preferred Proficiency in various building trades, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems Knowledge of building automation systems and energy management Familiarity with safety systems and fire alarm panels Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documentation Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English Proficiency in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office and maintenance management software Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required Valid UAE work visa or eligibility to obtain one College degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical) are highly desirable Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work effectively in a team environment Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
