We are seeking an experienced

Maintenance / Facilities Engineer

to oversee the maintenance, safety, and functionality of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in

real estate facilities management

, ensuring all building systems operate efficiently and tenants receive high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and supervise maintenance and repair activities across company properties. Manage building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and civil works. Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety and building codes. Oversee preventive maintenance programs and service contracts. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective execution of work. Support property management teams in tenant handovers, fit-outs, and defect rectifications. Manage budgets, maintenance records, and procurement of materials. Ensure energy efficiency, sustainability, and regulatory compliance across all facilities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field. Minimum

5 years of experience

in facilities or maintenance engineering within the

real estate/property management

sector. Strong knowledge of MEP systems, preventive maintenance, and building operations. Familiarity with UAE real estate and safety regulations (if applicable). Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of CAFM or CMMS systems preferred.
