Job Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities :

Machine Maintenance & Repair :

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on

Lectra cutting machines

(Vector, Q80, IX9, IP9, etc.). Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and software-related faults. Replace and adjust cutting heads, blades, motors, belts, sensors, and vacuum systems. Ensure proper calibration and alignment of cutting equipment.

Software & System Support:

Monitor and maintain Lectra software and machine parameters. Assist with system updates, backups, and configuration in coordination with IT or Lectra support. Analyze machine error codes and logs to resolve issues efficiently.

Production Support:

Respond quickly to machine breakdowns to minimize production downtime. Support operators with machine setup, troubleshooting, and best operating practices. Ensure cutting quality meets production and customer standards.

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure machines operate according to

safety standards

and company procedures. Conduct safety checks on guards, emergency stops, and electrical systems. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Documentation & Reporting:

Record maintenance activities, spare parts usage, and machine performance data. Prepare maintenance reports and recommend improvements or upgrades. Manage spare parts inventory related to Lectra cutting machines.

Continuous Improvement:

Propose technical improvements to increase machine reliability and productivity. Participate in continuous improvement and preventive maintenance programs. Assist in installation and commissioning of new Lectra equipment.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

Bac+2 in

Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Maintenance

.

Experience:

2-5 years of experience maintaining

Lectra cutting machines

or similar CNC cutting systems. Experience in textile, automotive

Technical

Skills:

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Basic PLC and CNC knowledge. Familiarity with Lectra cutting software and diagnostics tools. Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.

Soft

Skills:

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and under pressure. Good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to work shifts or be on-call if required.
