This is a varied and interesting position where your skills as an electrician, plumber or painter will be put to good use and you will continue to develop your skills in all kinds of maintenance areas. Working in a small but efficient team you will take on daily tasks inside and outside hotel rooms, guest and public areas and even within the F&B environment. Your quick work will ensure that everything operates as smoothly as it should. What does the job involve?

• Attend to all Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing repairs maintenance of the hotel facilities, including the physical building structure, fixtures & fittings, plant and related equipment in accordance with energy conservation, preventative and reactive maintenance good practice.
• \xe2\x80\x8bComplete weekly maintenance schedule and work
• Carry out regular maintenance inspections of the building, plant and equipment as per the daily checklist.
• Assist with preventative maintenance of fire protection systems ensuring all items are inspected as per scheduled requirements and that firefighting and safety features of the building operate at peak efficiency at all times.
• Assist with repairs and Maintenance of the Staff Accommodation as when the need arise.
• Monitor the inventory in the stores and ensure that there is adequate stocks of materials
• Keep accurate and up to date a record of stocks and equipment
• Ensure and takes responsibility for the cleanliness and safety aspects of equipment and tools in all hotel engineering related areas including plant and electrical distribution rooms and storerooms.
• Support the maintenance supervisor with the management of contractors including delivery of materials and equipment and oversight of maintenance repairs as needed
• Build good relationships with contractors.

Requirements

• Mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, especially HVAC Technician experienced in troubleshooting any alarms in main chiller.
• Fire protection systems, good knowledge on enabling and disabling fire devices in the panel and field operations.
• Health and Safety regulations and good practice.
• Working knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance principles.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Ability to keep accurate records of maintenance activities and prepare reports.
• Basic knowledge of building and services maintenance principles
• Working knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance principles.
• Swimming pools knowledge ideal specially managing and dosing on chlorine.
• F&B Outlets and guest room maintainence
• Air conditioning and ventilation systems

Experience

• 2+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience of General Maintenance experience, preferably within a hotel/resort environment
• Formal trade qualifications in Mechanical /Electrical /Plumbing.
• Computer Literate
