Use precision tools (e.g., calipers, analog vernier, digital vernier) to take accurate measurements

Identify the Pipe Material, Thickness and Ovality.

Hands on working experience on NPS 1" to 72".

Working knowledge on all type of flange face e.g.: RTJ Face, SWG, Hub groove and Metal Jacket.

Knowledge but not limited to machining as per ASME B16.5 and B16.47

Use of equipment in a fair and safe manner as per the operating procedure.

Review samples, drawings, blue prints, schematics or instructions to understand specifications of output.

Cut pipe at single and multiple angles, counter boring, end prepping and weld excavation.

Measure completed workpieces to verify conformance to specifications, using micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates, or rulers.

Start machines, monitor their operations, and record operational data.

Writing onsite machining reports.

Review samples, drawings, blue prints, schematics or instructions to understand specifications of output.

Provide in-site solution to non-standard applications.

Focal point for any technical clarification from the site.

Preparing onsite machining reports and operations reports as per Euro Mechanical Procedure.

Trouble shoot and / or able to provide solutions to any complicated machining related

Service and maintain equipment at site to ensure smooth operation is achieved.

Review and develop Method Statement as and when required.

Perform routine preventive maintenance and repair minor damages and modify machines if required.

Provide on the job training to Short Service Employees (SSE)

Qualification:

Minimum of high school diploma or diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent.

5 to 8 year experience in onshore/offshore in portable or stationary machining equipment and tools.

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office and associated applications. Competencies:

Physical strength to work in hot and humid conditions (onshore and offshore)

Good Hand-Eye coordination.

Adaptability to special projects and/or support to various business units as required.

Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English language.
