Job Description
Summary: The ideal candidate for Machinist position will be responsible to operate and maintain lathes and milling machines along with reviewing drawings and samples to ensure accurate production, taking precise measurements for cutting/shaping tasks using appropriate machine settings. Daily duties may include the following activities:
- Operate and maintain lathe and milling machines.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
- Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping.
- Selects appropriate machine and settings for a given task.
- Plan work sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.
- Monitors production and ensure accurate production.
- Maintain daily documentation.
- Maintain regular checks for quality assurance.
- Identifies need for machine maintenance /repairs.
- Proficient in operating overhead crane.
- Maintains a safe and clean workstation.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Maintain extremely high safety standards.
- Able to Speak English fluently.
- High school diploma or equivalent relevant discipline is a plus.
- Required 10 years' experience in working with various machine shop tools.
- UAE: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
