Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Machinery Mechanic to join our team at IIQAF . The Machinery Mechanic will be responsible for keeping machines and equipment in good working condition and improving performance by making necessary repairs and improvements.

- Inspect machines and equipment and identify parts needing repair or replacement
- Install, repair and replace worn and defective machined parts, components and assemblies such as pistons, rods, gears, and shafts
- Perform periodic maintenance and adjustments to prevent breakdowns of machines and equipment
- Use testing equipment such as ammeters, voltmeters, pressure gauges, and thermometers to test the performance of equipment
- Interpret diagrams and technical total handbooks to perform maintenance and repair work
- Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts and components
- Dismantle, repair and assemble machines and equipment as needed
- Responsible for welding repairs, as well as the installation of new parts
- Assist in the development of safety policies, procedures, and standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Associate\'s Degree in mechanical engineering or related field from an accredited college or university preferred
- A minimum of 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a Machinery Mechanic
- Proficiency in math, mechanics, and problem-solving
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and operating manuals
- Knowledgeable of industrial standards and safety regulations
- Ability to lift heavy objects in excess of 25 pounds
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
