Job Description
We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a dedicated and experienced Machinery Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all the mechanical components and equipment within our facilities. This role involves working with a wide range of machinery, so you must have excellent knowledge and experience working with machinery and mechanisms, and the ability to use specialized tools.

- Inspect and assess mechanical components of the facility\xe2\x80\x99s machinery, such as engines, generators, pumps, and compressors.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions, making repairs as necessary.
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment to disassemble, test and repair all components.
- Perform preventive maintenance and regular servicing procedures, such as lubrication, tightening of screws and bolts, etc.
- Monitor the performance of machinery and adjust controls as necessary.
- Adhere to safety standards and ensure that personal protective equipment is used in all appropriate circumstances.
- Maintain accurate records of all work done and parts used.
- Follow safety guidelines and report any hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- High School diploma or equivalent, with a certified Mechanics course.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Machinery Mechanic.
- Knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment, and experience troubleshooting and repairing them.
- Solid understanding of mechanical principles and concepts.
- Ability to effectively use hand and power tools.
- High level of attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
- Flexible schedule, with some evening and weekend work possible.
