Job Description
IIQAF is looking for a Machinery Mechanic to confidently and professionally maintain and repair industrial processing machinery. The ideal candidate should have experience in the repair of processing equipment and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems.
As a Machinery Mechanic, you will be responsible for:
As a Machinery Mechanic, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining and servicing a variety of machinery and equipment, making repairs and performing scheduled preventative maintenance
- Performing inspections, testing, and installing of machinery systems, such as pumps, compressors, and conveyors
- Investigating and resolving customer/operator issues
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues
- Working with a team to identify and efficiently address problems
- Ensuring work is performed to established safety standards
- Utilizing tools and test equipment to make repairs
- Industrial maintenance and repair techniques
- Principles of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Excellent mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
