Job Brief:

We are seeking a skilled

Machineries Technician

to join our facility management team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of machinery, particularly soft services equipment. The role requires strong technical expertise, analytical thinking, and the ability to solve mechanical and software-related malfunctions efficiently not just through part replacement but through effective repair solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical issues in various machines, especially soft services equipment (e.g., cleaning and maintenance machines). Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Perform repairs at the component level where possible, rather than relying solely on part replacement. Identify root causes of failures and implement corrective measures. Work with machine control software for calibration, configuration, and issue resolution. Maintain maintenance records, reports, and service logs accurately. Support procurement teams by providing technical input for spare parts and equipment. Follow company safety standards and ensure all equipment is serviced according to manufacturer guidelines.

Job Requirements:

Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or related field). Minimum

5 years of experience

in machinery maintenance and repair, preferably within the

facility management or soft services sector

. Strong hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing machines, not limited to part replacement. Familiarity with

machine software and diagnostic tools

. Excellent

analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making

skills. Ability to work independently and under pressure. Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage). Must be based in or willing to relocate to
