Conduct
laboratory testing
following ASTM, ISO, and OEM specifications.
Perform
routine and non-routine analyses
of raw materials, in-process blends, and finished products.
Interpret and troubleshoot results, including wear, oxidation, viscosity, and tribology testing.
Collaborate with R&D and quality teams to ensure consistent product performance and process improvement.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge on
additive technologies
, regulatory requirements and industry developments.
Prepare
technical documentation
, reports, and support product certifications and customer technical inquiries.
Assist in
pilot runs and plant trials
for new formulations or improvements.
Ensure compliance with
HSE standards and laboratory best practices
.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree
in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum of
5 years of experience
in a lubricant formulation or testing role.
Proficiency with
ASTM/ISO lubricant test methods
(e.g., D445, D97, D92, D2896, etc.).
Experience with
analytical instruments
(FTIR, ICP, GC, viscometers, etc.).
Familiarity with
lubricant additive packages
, base oil compatibility, and formulation software/tools is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and data interpretation skills.
Excellent documentation, communication, and teamwork abilities.
