Your Role
Introduction and
Handle and review each order from sales department (local and indent) or distributors and place orders completely in the system
Coordinating and controlling communication between salesman, customers and suppliers for the complete order cycle and associated information systems from receipt of order to delivery
Communicate with Product Company and suppliers on the order placed and outstanding
Take responsibility on custom clearance procedures; check shipping documents, good relationship with forwarder and broker
Take care of Logistics cost control with doing necessary documentation workflow relating to shipment and receipt of goods to stock
Prepare shipping documents/apply Certificate of Origin of the shipment shipped from the Warehouse
To provide the correct delivery information and continue communication to the related sales divisions
Timely issuing of the invoice in system (local), Goods Receipt Note (GRN)
Claim system processing, Service Call on MyQuest and resolve problems concerning transportation, documentation and other customer/distributor issues
Close cooperation with Credit Department on customer orders and outstanding receivable balance
Cooperate with auditors checking and provide necessary documents
Take responsibility on performing inventory and accounting related documents
Management of import and export administrative processes
To succeed, you will need
Experience/ Knowledge requirements
Minimum of 3 years professional experience in Logistics
On hands experience of order process, customs and shipping procedures, documentation, Letter of Credit, Inco-terms
Proven experience with Jebel Ali shipping movement and documentation requirements
Experience in Marketing Support and inventory management/control
Good understanding and usage of SAP, Outlook, GIM, C4C, Dubai Trade, and Microsoft Office Applications
Understanding of GCC customs procedures, especially Jebel Ali Free Zone
A solid understanding of order processing, shipping, import and export procedures Education requirements
-University degree of 4 years Business Administration or Accounting
-Proficient in English. Knowledge of Arabic is desirable Personality requirements
Ability to build effective working relationships with both customers and colleagues
Planning, organizing and prioritizing skills
Sound customer service orientation
Ability to work individually and as part of a team
Ability to meet reporting deadlines
Strong customer care focus, with continuous commitment to team building, sharing of experience and personal commitment
