JOB DESCRIPTION - LOGISTICS PROCESS LEADER

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Process Leader to oversee and optimize logistics operations in Dubai. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth, efficient, and cost-effective logistics processes, manage teams, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
Process Management

• Develop, implement, and optimize logistics processes and workflows
• Monitor performance KPIs to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
• Identify process gaps and implement corrective actions

Team Leadership

• Lead and manage the logistics team to achieve departmental objectives
• Provide training, guidance, and support to team members
• Conduct performance reviews and motivate the team to improve productivity

Operations & Coordination

• Oversee warehouse, transport, and distribution operations
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Resolve operational issues and bottlenecks promptly
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics activities

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure adherence to UAE laws and company policies in logistics operations
• Monitor safety and quality standards across all logistics activities
• Conduct audits and inspections to maintain compliance

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, costs, and KPIs
• Analyze trends and provide actionable insights to management
• Support strategic planning for logistics improvements and cost savings

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of warehouse, transportation, and distribution operations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
