Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and monitor incoming and outgoing materials, tools, and equipment for construction projects. Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, warehouse teams, and site personnel to ensure accurate and timely deliveries. Prepare and manage documentation for shipping, receiving, and inventory tracking. Optimize transportation routes and select the most cost-effective and reliable shipping methods. Ensure compliance with local regulations regarding transportation, storage, and handling of construction materials. Maintain accurate records of stock levels, delivery schedules, and inventory movement. Monitor site material consumption and forecast reordering needs to avoid delays. Coordinate with procurement, storekeepers, and project managers to ensure alignment on project material timelines. Resolve any logistical issues or discrepancies related to delivery, quantity, or quality. Support health and safety practices in transportation and storage procedures. Participate in logistics planning meetings and provide regular reports on logistics performance.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in logistics, preferably in the construction or civil engineering sector. Strong understanding of supply chain procedures, inventory management, and transportation logistics. Proficient in MS Office and logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems). Familiarity with transport regulations, and documentation procedures. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
