Responsibilities:

Responsible for effective movement of freight through the various shipping modes.
Manages multiple logistics functions within field operations ensuring on-time order delivery.
Freight carrier negotiation (prices, terms & conditions) for the benefit of the company
Coordinating and tracking inbound and outbound goods flow
Managing a team of Logistics personnel
Analyzing logistical problems and generating solutions Requirements:
At least 5-10 years of related work experience in Logistics & Supply chain management
Fluent English - Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand
Industry contacts and connections
Understanding of drivers hrs and laws
Large volume experience, organizing large volumes of trips, exports and paperwork
Must be competent in computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, data base)
Excellent negotiation skills
Planning and organizing skills
Time Management skills
Ability to work to deadlines
