Job Description

Reporting- Conducts data processing in SAP running weekly and daily reports, introduction to logistics concepts

Handle product complaints for damaged/expired products shortages/surplus products

Implement and enforce corporate policies, processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to facilitate consistent, coordinated, and timely logistics operations

Schedules and attends meetings and working groups as required

Maintains accountability records and spreadsheets for GFE and assists in disposal of GFE

Supports the PMO Team at the warehouse desk by maintaining and updating a centralized work order database

Ensure that the daily pre-production requirements are achieved to meet customer expectation, by also considering the stock level

Suggest the priorities and the workforce saturation point to production

Create production schedule and prioritize job orders for job optimization

Interacts with shop floor management on a daily basis to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiency

Send follow-up foreign trade, international transport and/or logistics and documents, client's notifications, transports and customs, receipts from the clients and claims for quality, damages or loss of material

Coordinate and evaluate the changes of engineering and new products / models

Interface and manage local 3rd party logistics services providers within the responsible area

Is knowledgeable of and supports EH&S goals across all modes of transport and storage

Previous work experience in the sea / air freight and logistics industry, and in similar positions

Specific education in foreign trade, international transport and/or logistics

Oversee the product classification process for International PO's to ensure product classification is completed before the arrival of goods into the EU

Develop solutions, where applicable, to classify product outside of the recognized classification tool

Apply for Customs BTI's where there is a doubt around the final product classification

Oversee the relevant duty preference schemes within the EU

Overlooks projects, reports and logs in order to make sure operation functions are smooth, in proper order and on time. Monitors Department's vehicle reliability, driver management and ensures vehicle operations are within Modern Bakery standards.

Coordinates with in-charges to make sure operations are smooth in all areas (Deliveries, Export, GRN section, Security Dept. and Vehicle Management) also coordinates with all of the Order Setters in order to make sure operation workflow is smooth and that all Order Setters have received their items quantities.

Also manages Order Setter workload and adjusts picklists accordingly.

Coordinates with production for scheduling, item quantities and divides according to division-wise (C-stores, Hotels, Wholesale etc.) and coordinates with production in case of any issues.

Some experience in ERP systems

Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years' experience in trade compliance role, specific focus on import regulations and procedures and export control compliance

A Bachelor or Master degree preferably in supply chain or a related topic

Experience in an international business context is preferred

You are able to manage complexity and keep the overview

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED14,000.00 per month

Experience:
