Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Leverage your 15+ years of multi-national company experience to provide visionary direction and leadership in global logistics. Harness 10+ years of logistics leadership experience in Kuwait to navigate local intricacies, optimize operations, and drive innovation.

Team Management: Assemble and manage a high-performance team of 10+ logistics professionals, inspiring them to execute the logistics strategy with excellence.

Vendor Relationships: Capitalize on your current executive relationships with industry giants like DHL and DSV freight forwarding leaders to optimize shipping and freight services.

Warehousing Strategy: Define and execute a comprehensive warehousing strategy tailored to our organization's unique needs, with a preference for your expertise in tech component warehousing.

Warehouse Establishment: Draw upon your previous experience to launch a warehouse from scratch (0 to 1), ensuring efficient operations and scalable solutions.

KPI Management: Lead your warehousing team in meeting and exceeding operational, financial, and EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) KPIs, setting the standard for excellence.

Staging System Setup: Spearhead the setup of a sophisticated staging system, enabling seamless supply chain efficiency for manufacturing, data centers, and project sites.

Software Systems Implementation: Architect and implement cutting-edge software warehousing and global logistics systems, catalyzing company-wide operational excellence and change management initiatives.

Data Integration: Seamlessly integrate data from global logistics leaders like DHL and DSV into our systems, providing enhanced visibility and meticulous control over logistics processes.

Resilience and Risk Management: Engineer a logistics network of unparalleled resilience, capable of withstanding global disruptions, including shipping blockages, piracy, strikes, and supply/demand imbalances, ensuring uninterrupted operations.

Customs Clearance: Leverage your proven relationships with clearance agents in Kuwait to streamline import and export processes, minimizing friction and optimizing efficiency.

Bilingual Proficiency: Your fluency in both English and Arabic will catalyze effective communication and collaboration in our diverse, international environment.

Qualifications: Proven experience as a VP or Senior Director of Logistics for a multinational company. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA preferred. 15+ years of experience in multi-national companies with a distinguished history of serving in 2-3 roles in global logistics. 10+ years of logistics leadership experience in Kuwait, underscoring your regional expertise. A demonstrated track record of managing high-performing teams of 10+ professionals. Strong executive relationships with industry giants such as DHL and DSV freight forwarding leaders in Dubai. Proficiency in defining and executing warehousing and software system strategies. Your familiarity with tech component warehousing is highly desirable. Mastery of operational, financial, and EHS KPI management. Proven ability to set up complex staging systems. Expertise in resilience and risk management within the dynamic global logistics landscape. Your fluency in English and Arabic is indispensable, fostering clear communication and collaboration in our global environment.
