Our client is a metal engineering organization and we are recruiting a UAE experienced logistics executive with strong experience in export shipments to join their Ras Al Khaima office and production site.

The successful candidate must be able to live in Ras Al Khaima and be available immediately to join the company.

Experience of working in Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone - RAKEZ is a strong advantage.

Role Summary

• Clearance of incoming and outgoing shipping documents in customs - (invoice, packing list, L/C negotiation, certificate of origin, bill of lading etc.).

• Handle transportation and deliveries for air, sea and land.

• Arrange duty exemption related documentation for RAKEZ.

• Import and export shipments across GCC including Saudi Arabia.

• Proactively follow-up with the overseas suppliers on the status of order deliveries periodically and track container arrival status to expedite shipments and deliveries.

• Monitor, document and communicate supplier performance in the areas of quality, delivery and responsiveness to corrective actions.

• Select carriers and negotiate transport and shipping contracts and rates.

• Arrange sales order, offer and invoice in SAP and submit shipping documents to Finance team for payment.

• Arrange transit and Maqasa shipments.

• Co-coordinate with warehouse team for picking and packing as per requirements based on destination country.

• Issue PO for raw materials and local items.

• Minimum 3 years of logistics and export shipping experience, preferably from trading and distribution environment in the UAE.

• Strong UAE experience in in-coming and out-going order processing and shipping documentation, including generating a complete flow of work in the export and/or import documentations.

• Experience of export shipping to KSA (Saudi Arabia) is a strong advantage.

• Advanced Excel skills are mandatory.

• UAE driving license is a strong advantage.

• Currently living in the UAE - must be able to live and work in Ras Al Khaima (RAK).

• Good command of English - must be able to read, write and speak English.

• Smart professional appearance with good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Diploma is mandatory as a minimum
