Logistics Coordinator - Automotive industry experience

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage the end-to-end flow of automotive parts, vehicles, and related materials. The role is responsible for ensuring efficient import/export operations, coordinating with suppliers and freight forwarders, and supporting production and distribution activities to maintain seamless supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the inbound and outbound transportation of automotive parts, vehicles, and accessories.
Manage shipping documentation (invoices, packing lists, customs clearance, certificates of origin, etc.).
Track shipments to ensure on-time delivery, resolving delays or discrepancies.
Liaise with freight forwarders, customs agents, and suppliers to ensure compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Support production scheduling by ensuring timely delivery of critical automotive components.
Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Prepare periodic reports on shipping status, logistics costs, and KPIs.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, health, and safety standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
2-4 years of logistics/supply chain experience (automotive industry preferred).
Knowledge of international shipping procedures, Incoterms, and customs regulations.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
