We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing various aspects of the logistics and supply chain process. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The Logistics Executive will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and transportation partners to ensure the smooth and efficient movement of goods from suppliers to customers. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end order fulfillment process, from order placement to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate shipments.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials, resolve any issues related to quality or delays, and maintain positive supplier relationships.
- Coordinate with transportation partners to schedule shipments, track deliveries, and optimize transportation routes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations for international shipments, including documentation, duties, and taxes. Stay updated on changes in international trade regulations.
- Oversee warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and order picking. Implement efficient warehouse layout and processes to maximize productivity.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes for incoming and outgoing shipments. Address any quality issues promptly and work towards continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings in the logistics process without compromising quality or service levels. Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and transportation partners.
- Generate regular reports on key logistics metrics such as on-time delivery, inventory levels, and transportation costs. Provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong understanding of international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in the use of logistics and inventory management software.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
