It is required to have the ability to manage freight inquiries, quotations and coordination with both local and international clients. Also, the candidate should have experience in rate and service negotiations with shipping lines, airlines and overseas agents. They should be skilled in handling multinational clients and executing time-bound and critical sea or air shipments. In addition, they should have knowledge about customs procedures and port operations. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling freight forwarding operations and customer service independently without supervision. Responsibilities: - Coordinate and monitor logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. - Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity. - Collaborate with internal departments, consignor, consignee, and shipping line to ensure smooth coordination and execution of logistics activities. - Monitor and analyze logistics trends, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures as needed. - Evaluate logistics performance and generate reports on monthly shipments. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate competitive pricing with them. - Train, supervise, and mentor logistics team members, promoting professional growth and ensuring adherence to company policies. - Coordinate with government authorities when necessary. Requirements: - Minimum 1 year of experience as a Logistics Executive/Operations Executive in a freight forwarding company in UAE. - Solid knowledge of incoterms, Sea/Land/Air freight forwarding process, E mirsal and Dubai Trade. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with different vendors and customers. - Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing logistics challenges. - Familiarity with relevant legal regulations and requirements for logistics operations in the UAE. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Excellent communication skills in English. - Immediate availability is required.
