Job Description

One of a leading Contracting company in Abu Dhabi is looking for proactive Logistics Executive with experience in infrastructure or construction projects.

The role involves coordinating the transportation, storage, and delivery of heavy materials, machinery, and equipment to project sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics operations in infrastructure domains such as roads, highways, bridges, railways, or power projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, schedule, and monitor logistics operations for timely delivery of project materials. Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, warehouse teams, and site managers for smooth material flow. Handle documentation such as delivery notes, e-way bills, invoices, GRNs, etc. Manage inbound and outbound logistics including loading/unloading, transportation, and tracking of goods. Liaise with customs, port authorities, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers for import/export shipments. Optimize logistics costs by route planning, vehicle capacity utilization, and vendor negotiations. Maintain inventory levels at site warehouses and ensure material availability as per construction schedules. Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and environmental standards related to logistics operations. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to logistics performance and delays. Support procurement and project teams in delivery planning and vendor follow-ups.

Key Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

3 years of logistics experience in infrastructure, EPC, or construction companies.

Knowledge:

Familiarity with construction site logistics Transportation of heavy equipment and raw materials Inventory and warehouse management systems Government regulations on transportation and safety

Skills:

Strong coordination and communication skills Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) Problem-solving and time management Ability to handle multiple stakeholders

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
