Job Description

Role Overview
Our client is currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator with solid experience in handling both freezone and mainland logistics operations.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and familiar with government procedures, customs documentation, and cross-border coordination.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate local and international shipments (air, sea, and land) for import/export
Liaise with customs, freight forwarders, and clearing agents to ensure timely delivery of goods
Handle all documentation related to freezone and mainland clearances, including invoices, packing lists, delivery orders, etc.
Apply for and follow up on government approvals such as customs clearance, municipality permits, and trade-related authorizations
Track shipments, update internal teams and customers with delivery timelines
Maintain records of inventory movement, shipment files, and regulatory documentation
Work with internal teams (sales, service, accounts) to ensure smooth order execution
Stay updated on UAE trade regulations, freezone guidelines, and customs processes

Candidate Profile

1-3 years of experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role in the UAE
Good knowledge of UAE logistics procedures, especially within freezones and mainland operations
Familiarity with Dubai Customs, import/export procedures, and trade regulations
Strong communication and coordination skills

Ability to handle multiple shipments and documentation with accuracy
Proficient in MS Office and basic ERP/inventory systems
