Our client is an MNC in the pharmaceutical/biotech/medical devices industry that are combining science, technology, and talent and can have a powerful impact on advancing our understanding of diseases and finding innovative solutions.
They are looking for a Customer Service cum Logistic Coordinator who would be Responsible for the order execution for the clients business for trade and tender customers for the markets. He/she will also Coordinate with Distributors/Warehouse Service Providers/Logistics Service Providers for the import permits & clearance procedures and documentation.
Job Responsibilities:
Order raising, execution, invoicing and creating deliveries/transportation to assigned markets in Gulf.
Day-to-day operational communications with Distributors, 3PLs, and freight-forwarders
Engagement with the 3PL Warehouse and Logistics service providers to ensure deliveries and shipments are scheduled with minimum delay & without demurrage cost as per the requirements specified by market leads.
Processing daily report downloads from the system to folders
Ensure E2E compliance of processes, logistics providers, reports as per the GSK guidelines.
Prepare supporting documents with specified data for invoicing purposes
Close follow-up on Inbounds to the Multi-Market Warehouse
Maintaining shipment trackers with daily activity status updates
Execute actions on system as aligned with market leads
Documents management and archiving folders
Drive Process improvements, efficiency and KPIs monitoring.
Continuous Improvement on response time to daily tasks.
Non-value added activities monitoring and suggest to improve/eliminate these activities
Create various Excel tools to support visibility on operations and spot inefficient trends and bottlenecks
Knowledge/ Education / Experience Required:
Minimum Level of Education: bachelors degree in supply chain / Logistics or Business Administration / Operation.
2 -3 years of experience in Logistics and Supply Chain with a Pharma or FMCG MNC.
Other Job-Related Skills/Background:
Proficient knowledge of IT tools (especially MS Excel) & corporate ERP systems (ideally SAP)
English speaker with good communication skills, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Arabic will be an added benefit to the role.
Very good working knowledge and experience of Order Management, Logistics, Shipping & Customer Service policies, processes, procedures & practices
Very good working knowledge and experience of Business Operations, Supply Chain Management, Sales & Operations Planning and Supply Management, including processes, procedures & practices
Good understanding of supply routes, import & export and how they affect invoicing and financial flows
Good understanding of various functions such as Regulatory, Sales, and Finance.
Very good knowledge of IT tools, MS Excel is a must & corporate ERP systems.
