About the job Logistics Coordinator

• Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
• Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively
• Utilize logistics IT to optimize shipping and transport procedures
• Recruit and coordinate logistics staff (e.g. truck drivers) according to availabilities and requirements
• Supervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs
• Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
• Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
• Keep Statistical logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders, pending orders, orders to place etc.
• Prepare accurate reports for upper management
• Keeping a log of all price trends and vendor communication history
• Prepare timely activity reports for upper management
• Quality control & inspection management with the vendors.
• Travel to ensure efficient processes and control of the supply chain and quality control for all orders.
• Liaison with the inspection companies to ensure the inspection norms and regulatory compliances must be adhered to.

• 5+ years proven experience as logistics coordinator
• Ability to create strong vendor relations
• Knowledge of laws, regulations and ISO requirements to ensure all logistical measures being followed
• Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)
• Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
• BSc/BA in business administration, supply chain management or relevant field
