Overview :
JOB PURPOSE
The Logistics Coordinator main responsibilities are to support the entire supply planning and logistics function: Fleet, warehouse, delivery, demand planning. Responsibilities:
A Logistics Coordinator requires excellent communication and negotiation skills. The candidate must have a great record-keeping ability and a customer-oriented approach as well as a well-diversified knowledge of supply management principles and practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must due to frequent communication with Vendors, Sales, HR, Support Teams and Logistics personnel. Strong interpersonal skills are also necessary to interact with various roles within the warehouse daily. Problem-solving, critical thinking and being computer-savvy are crucial skills for a strong Logistics Coordinator.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and Report Supply Chain operations, performance and expenses
  • Track and coordinate export shipment documents and product arrival
  • Communicate and coordinate with Government entities and websites for final product releases
  • Communicate with Support Teams to validate, create and update system vendors
  • Coordinate with Logistics Supervisors to obtain Supply Chain data
  • Prepare accurate reports & presentations for Management
  • Calculate projected Supply Chain expenses for financial provisions
  • Keep logs and records of Supply Chain invoice submissions and monthly expenses
  • Prepare and validate data for billing reports
  • Prepare contracts and coordinate with Management and Legal Teams
  • Carry out internal Vendor Contract processes as per policy procedures (Quotations, TPDD etc.)
  • Communicate with vendors to negotiate mutually beneficial agreements

Qualifications:
Requirements and skills
  • Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
  • Detail-oriented, well organized with the ability to prioritize work in an efficient manner
  • Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of SAP software
  • Advance knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Visio
  • Quick learner with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain processes and practices

  • Extensive knowledge on Contract process and procedures
  • Experience in Vendor and Supply Chain relations preferably
