Background
IMGS Group is looking for an ambitious Logistics Coordinator to provide support to the Operations Department by managing all aspects of port and cargo operations including the receipt, storage, and distribution of cargo by rail, sea, or road. Must have a valid UAE DRIVER'S LICENSE

Role & Responsibilities:
- Managing daily activities involving cargo discharge /loading; the operations of equipment and/or cargo under IMGS Group command.
- Will also be responsible for initiating/developing/maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and labor organizations, administration (Including operations of stock systems).
- Primary point of contact for all vessel related operations (i.e., ship, broker, agents) and initial incident notification.
- Working with a team of supervisors and port workers to ensure all operations are undertaken safely and efficiently to customer requirements and IMGS international standards.
- Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues.
- Liaising and negotiating with suppliers and retailers.
- Fantastic communications and relationship management skills.
- 3+ years of experience in logistics management required.
- Marine operations knowledge and a good understanding of ship capabilities. Ship agency experience preferred.
- Good experience in handling cargo operation of General Cargo / Break Bulk / Containers / Heavy Lifts & Liquid Cargo.
- Working knowledge of legal regulations and ISO requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to think creatively, mature, outstanding communication and relationship management skills, well organized, disciplined, and able to follow through.
- Results-oriented, high-energy levels, and ability to drill into details to achieve results.
- Must have a deep understanding of bulk cargo handling, all shipping documentation, and protocol.
- Requires fitness and adaptability to travel.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite.
