Logistics Coordinator

Job Description

Logistics Coordinators manage the supply chain of goods, and ensure they are distributed in the most efficient manner. They are responsible for ensuring that any items processed through the system travel safely and in the most cost-effective way possible. You should also be able to promptly resolve distribution issues and have a strong negotiation skill. Tasks and duties

  • Analyzing and optimizing logistical procedures.
  • Routing and re-routing orders.
  • Monitoring shipments, deliveries, timelines and costs.
  • Resolving shipment issues.
  • Answering customer enquiries.
  • Liaising with suppliers and transport companies.
  • Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.
Logistics Coordinator Requirements:
  • A degree in logistics or related field preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in logistics management required.
  • Working knowledge of legal regulations and ISO requirements.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
  • Good management and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month Education:
