Job Summary:



The Logistics Fleet Supervisor is responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company's fleet in the UAE. This includes supervising drivers, ensuring vehicle maintenance and registration compliance, monitoring delivery schedules, and ensuring all fleet operations comply with UAE traffic laws and RTA regulations. The supervisor will ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective transportation of goods across the Emirates.

Key Responsibilities:



Supervise daily fleet operations including scheduling, route planning, and dispatching of vehicles across UAE locations.

Ensure that all vehicles are maintained according to manufacturer and regulatory standards, including RTA inspections and renewals.

Monitor driver performance, fuel usage, and route efficiency using GPS and fleet management systems.

Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and customer service teams to ensure timely delivery and pickups.

Maintain accurate records of vehicle registration, insurance, Salik, fuel expenses, and maintenance logs.

Enforce compliance with UAE traffic rules, health and safety regulations, and internal policies.

Respond promptly to incidents or vehicle breakdowns, coordinating emergency support or recovery when necessary.

Train and evaluate drivers, ensuring they understand safety procedures, defensive driving, and delivery protocols.

Assist in developing cost-saving initiatives such as route optimization and vehicle utilization plans.

Report on KPIs such as delivery accuracy, fuel efficiency, downtime, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred).

3-5 years of experience in fleet or transportation supervision in the UAE or GCC region.

Strong knowledge of UAE road laws, RTA compliance, and vehicle licensing procedures.

Proficiency in GPS tracking systems and fleet management software.

UAE driving license is mandatory; experience with light and/or heavy vehicles is a plus.

Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Strong communication skills in English; Arabic or Hindi/Urdu is a plus.

Working Conditions:



Office-based with regular field visits to warehouses, delivery points, and vehicle yards.

May require working overtime, weekends, or shifts based on operational needs.

Travel across different Emirates as required.
