Locksmith
- Locksmith provides electronic lock maintenance and repair on both campuses for non-networked code and switch-activated ADA and security locks requiring local installation, programming, troubleshooting and maintenance.Locksmith Duties & Responsibilities
:Ability to read, interpret, and follow basic maintenance procedures of various locks, Responsible for following all safety procedures and maintaining a safe and secure work environment. Assist in installs, repairs, rebuilds, and services mechanical or electrical locking devices, using hand tools and special equipment. Installs or repairs hydraulic door closers and
electronic door operators
using hand and power tools. Performs preventive maintenance on electronic locking systems and key encoders to ensure proper and reliable operation. You will select methods to be used in neutralizing, troubleshooting, and repairing locking mechanisms. You will use hand and power tools (e.g., electric drills, acetylene torches, soldering irons, brazing torches, bench lathes, drill presses) to perform locksmith work. You will use hand tools (e.g., small files, chisels, hammers, picks, tweezers, key duplication machine, bench lathes screw, drills, punches, grips) while repairing locking devices. You will use tools and equipment of the locksmith trade to install locks throughout an organization. Assemble/disassemble locksSend your CVs:
