Job Purpose:



We are seeking a highly experienced

Senior Systems Administrator

to lead the installation, monitoring, maintenance, and support of server operating systems and applications within our

eChannels System Support

function. This role ensures the secure, continuous, and high-performance operation of key systems critical to the Bank's digital and electronic channels.

Key Responsibilities:



Technical Operations & Systems Management



Lead administration of

Linux, Windows, Apache, WebLogic, OpenShift,

and other main server platforms. Ensure 24/7 system availability, performance, and integrity. Install, upgrade, and maintain server operating systems and applications. Automate backups, disaster recovery, and documentation procedures. Monitor server performance, capacity, and utilization to optimize operations.

Security & Compliance



Enforce system and data security protocols and review security logs. Ensure systems comply with all legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements (e.g.,

AML, Data Protection, Risk Management

). Support audits and regulatory reviews with timely, accurate information.

Team Leadership & Vendor Management



Guide junior team members and collaborate with internal departments. Work closely with vendors and third-party partners for support and upgrades. Lead or participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve systems and reduce costs.

Strategic & Operational Support



Act within delegated authority to make decisions that align with the Group's strategic objectives. Develop, implement, and monitor KPIs and service levels. Support continuity planning and incident response.

Required Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in

Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS,

or related field. Minimum

8 years of relevant experience

, preferably in international banking environments.

Key Skills & Competencies:



Expertise in

Linux, Windows, Apache, WebLogic, OpenShift.

Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems architecture, and banking applications. Excellent English (Arabic is a strong advantage). Proficiency in IT tools, automation, scripting, and backup systems. Strong planning, problem-solving, and crisis management skills. Ability to work under pressure and provide after-hours support as needed.
