Job Title: Line boss - Packaging Division: Technical Operations – Packaging Country: UNITED ARAB EMIRATES Work Location: UAE (RAK head office) Job Type: Packaging - Line Boss Employment Type: Full Time Employment (Limited Contract) : Purpose: The line boss will adhere with the cGMP principles and to maintain them in an effective manner. He will be responsible for organizing the line for packaging and to follow the standard operating procedures. He should also document hourly checks and complete the batch packaging documents. He ensures that the area/machine and equipment’s clean and get line capacity every hour and help to increase line efficiency. Key responsibilities & Accountability: Main Responsibilities: Organizes the line for packaging. Ensures all the staffs are following gowning procedure as per SOP. Ensures area, machine and equipment are cleaned before starting the packaging process. Ensures all staff on the lines are all following the standard operating procedures. Distributes job to the packaging workers. Checks the bulk and packaging material before use as per dispensing sheet. Follows the instructions from start-up given by manager. Responsible for the line clearance. Responsible for checking the product weight as per the limit. Responsible for weighing operations performed at the end of packaging process using calibrated scale. Performs the hourly checks as per the checklist, SOP and document the same. Responsible for completing the line documents for his/her shift. Reports any mistakes or technical fault to packaging officer/supervisor. Gets line capacity every hour and help to increase line efficiency. Ensures that the lines are cleaned between the batches and at the end of the shift. Performs any additional responsibilities assigned by the superiors. Qualifications: - Education At least High School Graduate or with Bachelor’s degree is highly advantageous. - Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing field. - Training: Key Competencies: Effective team communication and team work.
