Responsibilities:

Designing lighting plans for, including selecting appropriate lighting
Creating renderings of lighting designs using computer software programs such as AutoCAD and/or 3D Max
Evaluating lighting designs and suggesting changes where necessary
Meeting with site engineers and clients to discuss design concepts and get feedback on drafts of designs
Creating lighting plots \xe2\x80\x9cMood Board\xe2\x80\x9d that include information such as lighting location and type of light source used

Skills:

The ability to turn an idea, concept, or mood into lighting.
Working collaboratively and being open to the contribution of others.
The ability to work under pressure, including time constraints, achieving results thoroughly and quickly.
Good communication skills.
2-4 years professional experience in lighting design
Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Exceptional creativity, problem solving, and time management skills
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
