The Team

As part of the development of its MENA business, and overall global growth, Cundall are excited to announce the establishment of a new office in Riyadh, KSA. Cundall have been working on projects in KSA for almost 15 years, so this is the natural progression for the business, building on long standing relationships and offering the same high standard of multidisciplinary design and consultancy services.

This is something that has been in the planning for quite some time and our new office in Riyadh will complement the existing regional offices in the UAE and Qatar and provide a much stronger and resilient regional business structure.

Cundall's lighting team deliver award-winning innovative design solutions which have over recent years been described as game changers in a number of sectors within the industry.

Our lighting designers support all the Cundall office projects globally in addition to working on independent lighting projects. With a progressively increasing workload there is a need for additional skills within the KSA team. We already have a significant base workload in the region, being instrumental in the Dark Skies preservation projects and being involved in the design of several leisure and entertainment schemes. The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Lighting Designer, or an Engineer with major Public Realm lighting design experience, to join the team in KSA. A significant proportion of time will be spent at remote sites working on Dark Sky projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the lighting design elements of these projects in addition to supporting in all lighting projects undertaken by the global team.

Cundall's approach is to challenge the perception of what is good quality lighting design, and we use every project to advance our clients and the public's understanding of light and its many benefits. You will be expected to push the boundaries both creatively and technically to deliver outstanding and award-winning lighting designs. Our projects are across a variety of sectors including hospitality, workplace, retail, public realm, historic and lighting installations.

A lighting designer with experience of developing projects from the creative concept stage through the technical delivery stage and onto site, you have a portfolio demonstrating concept design sketches, photoshop renders, 3D design skills, lighting calculations and detail design drawing production.

You are a confident and credible relationship builder and know what it takes to manage and exceed client expectations (both internally and externally). You will be competant at dealing with contractors and other stakeholders on site, helping win over hearts and minds.
