Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Light Vehicle Supervisor to manage and control our light vehicle fleet, including daily transportation operations, driver coordination, vehicle utilization, and compliance. The role requires strong operational control, reporting discipline, and hands-on supervision to ensure smooth daily movements across sites.

Key Responsibilities

Fleet & Vehicle Management

Supervise daily operations of light vehicles (cars, pickups, vans). Monitor vehicle availability, utilization, and allocation to sites. Ensure vehicles are road-worthy, licensed, insured, and compliant with company policies. Coordinate with the garage team for routine servicing, repairs, and breakdowns.
Driver & Transport Operations

Assign drivers for daily transportation requirements. Ensure punctual pick-up and drop-off of staff, engineers, and materials. Monitor driver attendance, discipline, and performance. Ensure drivers follow safety rules and company procedures.

Daily Logs & Reporting

Maintain daily vehicle movement logs, trip sheets, and fuel records. Track mileage, fuel consumption, and usage efficiency. Report vehicle misuse, delays, or operational issues to management.

Coordination & Compliance

Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and operations team. Ensure compliance with UAE traffic rules and company HSE standards. Support audits and internal reviews related to transport operations.

Requirements

Minimum 1-3 years of experience in light vehicle supervision or transportation operations. Experience managing drivers and daily transport schedules. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and breakdown handling. Ability to maintain logs, reports, and daily operational records (Excel). Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage). Valid UAE driving license is preferred.

Preferred Skills

Experience in construction, transport, or contracting companies. Can speak Arabic Strong coordination and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple sites
