Lifting Engineer

Job Description
Objective:
Supervise the execution of handling and lifting activities, both performed by subcontractors and in direct hiring, verifying that works are correctly carried out in accordance with project documentation and in the planned time frame Support the handling and lifting subcontractors or the direct hiring personnel ensuring the feasibility (availability of method drawings, procedures and materials) of the works. Should be able to prepare lifting plan.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Completion of a recognized Lifting Supervisor Safety Course or equivalent training. Relevant experience in lifting operations, often with a minimum of one year. Strong awareness of health and safety issues on a construction or industrial site. Ability to remain alert and adapt to changing conditions, a skill referred to as situational awareness. Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with lifting equipment and procedures. At least 5 years of experience.
