Lifting Engineer
Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Lifting Engineer to join our team in the Oil and Gas industry.
Selection Criteria:
A minimum of 8 years of experience with lifting equipment in the Oil and Gas sector, including at least 3 years in inspection and certification within the Gulf Countries.
A qualified Engineer with a Diploma/Degree and certification from the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) TUV certification is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of international lifting equipment standards and codes for inspection and certification. Must have offshore experience.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage daily work schedules and plans.
Create and review Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
Prepare studies for heavy lift routes, including site visits, transport, and offloading drawings. Ensure proper certification and coding of all heavy lift assets, ensuring certificates are renewed periodically.
Identify hazards associated with each work activity and assess potential accidents/incidents.
